4iG and Northrop Grumman sign agreement for Hungary's first communications satellite under HUSAT programme

Hungarian company 4iG and Northrop Grumman have signed a cooperation agreement for the development and launch of Hungary's first national military communications satellite under the HUSAT programme. The satellite will provide secure, sovereign communications capacity for Hungarian government and defense users. Northrop Grumman will supply the satellite bus and payload technology, with 4iG leading integration and ground segment development. HUSAT represents Hungary's first independent space-based communications capability and a milestone in Central European defense space investment.
