AEVEX Completes $600 Million Acquisition Of USV Manufacturer BlackSea

AEVEX completed its acquisition of BlackSea Technologies at an enterprise value of about $600 million, expanding from aerial systems into maritime autonomy. The transaction was structured with approximately $250 million in cash and $350 million in AEVEX shares, with an additional earnout tied to performance. BlackSea develops platforms including the 16-foot Global Autonomous Reconnaissance Craft and larger vessels for surveillance, logistics and other naval missions. The combination creates a multi-domain supplier spanning uncrewed aircraft, surface vessels, autonomy software and mission support for United States and allied customers.
