AKINCI Strikes with Supersonic UAV-300 Missile!

Baykar's AKINCI unmanned combat aircraft fired Roketsan's UAV-300 supersonic ballistic missile and directly hit a maritime target more than 250 kilometres away during a Black Sea test. The aircraft departed Baykar's Çorlu Flight Training and Test Center in Tekirdağ, released the weapon off Sinop and returned along its planned route. The successful firing confirms integration of the UAV-300 on AKINCI, following earlier integration of the shorter-range UAV-122 and UAV-230 supersonic missiles. The reported distance describes the demonstrated engagement in this test; the companies did not publish a complete performance envelope or operational fielding schedule.
