Anduril Taps Gecko Robotics AI Inspection to Speed Submarine Production

Anduril Industries and Gecko Robotics announced a partnership to deploy robotic inspection and AI-based quality-control technology in Anduril’s submarine manufacturing operations. Gecko’s systems will inspect components at Anduril’s 160,000 sq ft Orange County facility and feed manufacturing data into the ArsenalOS production platform, targeting quality bottlenecks in parts including Virginia-class submarine torpedo-tube components. The work also supports process development for Anduril’s planned Arsenal-2 shipbuilding facility in Maryland, which is expected to begin initial operations around 2030. The announcement is an industrial partnership rather than a separate Navy contract awarded to Gecko, and no partnership value was disclosed.
