Anduril Unveils Steelfin Family Of Modular Surface-To-Air Missiles
Anduril unveiled Steelfin, a family of modular surface-to-air interceptors using a common two-stage architecture for different air and missile defense missions. A first-stage booster provides launch and range performance, while the terminal interceptor shares an airframe, avionics, software, flight controls and interfaces across variants. Different rocket motors, seekers and terminal components can be configured for particular threats, with both hit-to-kill and blast-fragmentation options planned. Anduril is proposing common manufacturing processes to support large production volumes, but has not disclosed unit prices or detailed performance specifications for the individual missile configurations.
