Army wants up to 100 drone boats to fill watercraft gap in Pacific

The U.S. Army wants up to 100 uncrewed surface vessels to fill its Pacific watercraft gap. The drone boats would provide logistics, resupply and ISR support across Indo-Pacific archipelagos. The requirement complements Army efforts to enable distributed operations against China. Industry day and solicitation are imminent.
