Arrestor gear contract to go to Marshall
The UK Ministry of Defence intends to award Marshall Land Systems a direct contract worth £7.5 million before VAT for support to aircraft arrestor equipment at British and overseas airfields. The arrangement would consolidate and extend two existing contracts covering portable hydraulic arrestor gear, barriers, spares, repairs and design services. It is expected to run through December 2028, with two optional one-year extensions to 2030, preserving specialist support for systems that safely stop aircraft during emergencies or operations from constrained runways. The intended award could be signed from December 2026.
