ARX Robotics and GDLS-UK move to pair Ajax with Hector autonomous wingmen and scale sovereign UK production

ARX Robotics and General Dynamics Land Systems-UK are exploring integration of the Hector uncrewed ground vehicle with the British Army's Ajax reconnaissance platform. Using the Generic Vehicle Architecture, the companies aim to let Ajax crews control robotic wingmen for scouting, sensing, logistics, or other high-risk tasks while developing a route to larger-scale UK manufacture. The collaboration is an integration and industrial-development initiative, not confirmation that the Army has selected Hector for fleet-wide procurement, and operational roles, quantities, and fielding schedules remain subject to trials and customer decisions.
