Aurelius, Rheinmetall Partner On Ground Robot-Based Laser Drone Defense

Aurelius Systems and American Rheinmetall have partnered to integrate autonomous directed-energy counter-drone defense on robotic ground vehicles. The system combines Rheinmetall's UGV platform with Aurelius' laser-based C-UAS payload. The solution targets low-cost drone threats increasingly seen in Ukraine and the Middle East. Testing and demonstration timelines are under development.
