Australia's DroneShield enhances C-UAS suite with laser technology

DroneShield announced a collaboration with AIM Defence to make its DroneSentry operational platform interoperable with the Fractl high-power laser effector. The planned integration is intended to coordinate RF sensing, AI-enabled software, sensor fusion, command-and-control and directed energy through a common operating environment, adding a hard-kill option alongside DroneShield’s electronic-warfare capabilities. Initial work will focus on selected military and government users through demonstrations, interoperability activity and potential future deployments; no fielding schedule or integrated-system performance figures were disclosed.
