Australia's EOS Signs £370M Nationwide Gulf Counter-Drone Contract
Australia’s Electro Optic Systems signed a £370 million counter-drone contract with an unnamed Gulf Cooperation Council customer for a nationwide defensive network. EOS will act as prime contractor and system integrator, centering the architecture on MARSS’s NiDAR command-and-control software, which fuses sensor tracks, classifies threats and coordinates connected effectors. The agreement is subject to remaining bank-guarantee and export-licence conditions before full execution, with rapid deployment planned once those requirements are satisfied. EOS described it as the largest contract in the company’s history, but the customer, equipment quantities and detailed delivery schedule were not disclosed.
