BAE Systems says it secured $230.1 million contract for Marine Corps ACV recovery chassis

BAE Systems has secured a $230.1 million contract to produce 32 recovery-variant chassis for the US Marine Corps' Amphibious Combat Vehicle fleet. Work on the ACV-R chassis will primarily take place at the company's York, Pennsylvania, facility and is scheduled to continue through 2029. The government will conduct final integration at Anniston Army Depot, including installation of a Palfinger crane and the equipment required to recover and maintain other ACVs. The award advances the recovery version within a vehicle family that also includes personnel carrier, command and 30-millimeter cannon variants.
