Boeing's T-7A Red Hawk advances to flight training after first instructor class completes 31-day simulator course at Texas air base

Boeing's T-7A Red Hawk advanced jet trainer program has reached a new operational milestone as the first class of U.S. Air Force instructors has completed a 31-day simulator training course at a Texas air base, enabling the program to advance to live flight training. The completion of instructor qualification is a prerequisite for stand-up of the operational training unit and marks a transition from aircraft development and testing toward full fielding. The T-7A is intended to replace the T-38 Talon and introduce a modern fly-by-wire training platform for the next generation of USAF fighter and bomber pilots.
