The Royal Navy has opened its Uncrewed Systems Centre in Swindon to accelerate fielding of drones, autonomous boats and unmanned minehunters. The centre consolidates development, testing and doctrine for RN unmanned programmes. It supports the shift from crewed MCM vessels to autonomous solutions.
