British Army Pairs U.S.-made M270A2 Rocket Launcher System With 250-Km Nyan Drone for Deep Strikes

The British Army displayed Callen-Lenz’s jet-powered Nyan one-way effector alongside an M270A2 launcher at DVD 2026 as part of its expanding deep-strike architecture. Nyan is designed to deliver precision effects beyond 250 kilometers, depending on mission profile, and to complement costlier GMLRS, Extended Range GMLRS and future PrSM missiles with additional magazine depth. The British Ministry of Defence has purchased Nyan for Field Army use, and the system entered service in 2026 with 26 Regiment, Royal Artillery; it is not physically launched from the M270A2 and instead uses its own pneumatic catapult.
