Canadian armored vehicle maker develops new MRAP version

Canadian manufacturer Roshel revealed a new version of its Admiral mine-resistant, ambush-protected vehicle, extending a family already used for protected mobility. The updated design emphasizes resistance to mines, improvised explosive devices, ballistic threats, and the practical demands of transporting personnel through contested areas. A commercially based architecture can simplify production and sustainment while allowing mission-specific equipment to be added. The vehicle has surfaced as a manufacturer development rather than a confirmed government selection, so protection certification, payload, mobility, price, production capacity, and customer trials will determine its market prospects.
