Cody unveils Badger missile and Ordnance One factory plans
Cody Aerospace & Defence unveiled its Badger ground-launched strike missile and plans for a new Ordnance One production facility at Apex Europe. The company presented Badger with a containerized launcher and associated radar and fire-control elements, while positioning the factory as a means to shorten missile replenishment cycles and support higher-rate production. Cody also plans to develop an interceptor capability for the architecture in a later phase, potentially broadening the system beyond surface-to-surface strike. The announcement describes a newly established company’s product and manufacturing plans rather than a government procurement decision, and no customer, contract value, missile quantity or fielding date was disclosed.
