Companies downselected for British Army vehicle programme

Seven companies or industry teams are believed to have been downselected for the Light Mobility Vehicle segment of the British Army's Land Mobility Programme, which is intended to replace thousands of Land Rovers and Pinzgauers across multiple variants. Shephard identifies Team LionStrike, Wolf Pack, Team Grenadier and GDLS-UK with Ford as confirmed selections, while sources say Supacat-Babcock, Jaguar and Spain's Iturri with a Renault-Arquus vehicle also progressed. The downselect is not a production award, and the Army has not yet selected a final vehicle or announced the eventual fleet size, contract value or delivery quantities.
