Counter-Drone Tech Company Fortem Closes $50 Million Series B Round

Fortem Technologies closed a $50 million Series B round led by Lockheed Martin, whose $25 million initial tranche was announced earlier in 2026, with participation from Unusual Machines and other investors. Fortem will use the capital to expand manufacturing at its Lindon, Utah, facility and increase global deployment of the SkyDome counter-drone family. SkyDome combines TrueView radar, AI-enabled command software and autonomous DroneHunter interceptors, while recent U.S. homeland-security awards and demand for major-event protection provide the company with a growing market for integrated airspace defense.
