DARPA wants AI built into running its biotech research
DARPA has awarded Systems Planning and Analysis a $10.9 million task order to provide operational and programme-support services for new and ongoing biotechnology programmes through October 2031. The work is required to be conducted in an AI-augmented, AI-integrated and AI-enabled manner and covers technical, administrative, programme and financial management support. The contract notice does not specify which tasks AI tools will perform or require a particular software system.
