Denmark expands fleet of Leopard 2 tank transporters

Scania placed an additional order on behalf of the Danish Armed Forces for 15 Broshuis Heavy Equipment Trailers to transport Leopard main battle tanks. Broshuis will supply the trailers, while Scania is responsible for the tractor units under the joint project. The new HETs are scheduled for delivery later in 2026 and will increase the Danish military's Broshuis trailer fleet to 60 units. The acquisition expands Denmark's capacity to move heavy armour over long distances while limiting wear on tracked vehicles and supporting NATO readiness.
