Diehl Defence and Elbit Systems demonstrate long-range SkyStriker loitering munition, positioning it for potential production in Germany

Diehl Defence and Elbit Systems conducted a live demonstration of the SkyStriker long-range loitering munition in Germany as they position the system for possible German procurement and local production. The electrically powered weapon is designed to loiter, identify a designated target and conduct a precision strike with a comparatively low acoustic and thermal signature. The activity was a demonstration, not a Bundeswehr selection or production award, and no German order, quantity or contract value was announced.
