Dutch MoD and EOS sign LOI on development of company's HEL into operational C-UAS
The Netherlands’ Ministry of Defence and EOS signed a letter of intent on September 24 to develop the company’s Apollo high-energy laser into a fully operational counter-drone capability. The agreement provides a framework for further technical work and discussions about acquiring an unspecified number of systems. EOS also proposes Dutch manufacturing, a European headquarters in the Netherlands and a supply chain led by local industry. The initiative advances cooperation on laser-based air defense, but a letter of intent does not establish a final procurement contract, agreed production quantity, total program value or operational fielding date.
