The United Arab Emirates' EDGE Group and Morocco's National Defense Administration signed a memorandum of understanding to examine local production of CARACAL small arms and POWERTECH aircraft and drone engines. Announced during a defense industry event in Marrakech, the arrangement establishes a framework for assessing cooperation with Moroccan industrial partners, including potential manufacturing and associated technical support. CARACAL supplies infantry weapons, while POWERTECH develops propulsion solutions for aviation and unmanned platforms; the agreement does not identify particular weapon or engine models for production.
