Edge to integrate guided weapons on Moroccan UCAVs

EDGE Group secured a contract with Morocco’s Administration of National Defence to supply and integrate guided weapons across Royal Moroccan Air Force unmanned combat aircraft. The package includes the Desert Sting 16 precision weapon and Thunder P-31 guidance kit, the latter converting 250 lb Mk 81-class bombs for guided employment, including semi-active laser targeting. The agreement expands earlier Moroccan cooperation with EDGE on air-launched precision weapons and is intended to equip existing or planned UCAV platforms. EDGE did not disclose the contract value, number of weapons, specific aircraft integration sequence or delivery timetable in the announcement.
