Elbit America wins U.S. Army contract to develop and test BiNOD next-generation night vision system

Elbit Systems of America has secured a U.S. Army contract to develop and test the BiNOD next-generation binocular night observation device. The BiNOD program aims to replace legacy AN/PVS-14 monoculars with a higher-resolution, lower-profile binocular system offering enhanced situational awareness for dismounted soldiers. The system features dual-tube image intensification with optional digital overlay capability. This contract positions Elbit as a key contender in the Army's broader soldier-sensor modernization portfolio.
