Embraer presents first KC/C-390 for Uzbekistan

Embraer presented the first C-390 Millennium for the Uzbekistan Air Force on September 10, making Uzbekistan the type's first Central Asian customer. The aircraft is the first of two covered by a December 2024 order whose customer remained undisclosed until the Singapore Airshow in February 2026. Uzbekistan plans to use the C-390 primarily for transport and humanitarian missions; the aircraft can carry up to 26 tonnes, cruise at 470 knots and operate from temporary or unpaved runways. Embraer did not announce a handover date or contract value, so the presentation marks a production milestone rather than confirmed operational delivery.
