EOS plans U.S. serial production of next-generation Slinger counter-drone system

EOS Defense Systems USA plans to begin serial production of its next-generation Slinger counter-drone weapon system in Huntsville, Alabama, during 2027. The company is expanding its facility while completing development of improved sensing and selectable autonomy, including an automated sequence from target detection through engagement. Slinger uses a stabilised remote weapon station intended to engage drones and ground targets while the host vehicle moves, without changing between separate configurations. The announcement establishes a manufacturing plan and capability goals, but does not identify a new customer award, production quantity or confirmed delivery schedule for the upgraded system.
