Exail Starts Production of Unmanned MCM System for Indonesian Navy

Exail has begun producing Indonesia's Unmanned Mine Countermeasures Integrated System, including four Inspector 90 surface drones, Seascan identification vehicles and K-Ster expendable mine-disposal systems. The package will operate from the Indonesian Navy's Abeking & Rasmussen-built minehunters KRI Pulau Fani and KRI Pulau Fanildo. Exail will also integrate separately selected European towed sonar and influence-sweeping equipment, including Henriksen's HEMLIS system, and supply associated launch and recovery arrangements. The contract includes this integration work and training in France and Indonesia, marking execution of the acquisition announced in June 2025 rather than a new system selection.
