Finland and Sweden order first Patria TRACKX tracked armoured vehicles for field evaluations, with deliveries beginning in 2027
Finland and Sweden placed their first orders for Patria TRACKX tracked armored vehicles for national field evaluations, with initial deliveries scheduled to begin in 2027. Finland's package includes vehicles and support plus a letter of intent covering possible serial procurement, while Sweden plans its own testing and some joint trials with Finland. Developed through the European Defence Fund's FAMOUS program, TRACKX is intended for difficult terrain such as deep snow, marshes, sand and soft ground, giving both countries a common platform to assess before larger purchases.
