Finland, Norway and Latvia signed a joint statement on Patria TRACKX cooperation to explore joint development and procurement of a new tracked infantry fighting vehicle. The initiative parallels the successful Common Armoured Vehicle System (CAVS) 6x6 programme. Patria's TRACKX targets high-mobility operations in northern terrain. Joint development could achieve economies of scale for Nordic-Baltic land forces.
