Finnish Patria AMV XP 8x8 Targets Czech Pandur II Replacement With Local Industry

Patria and STV GROUP will present the locally tailored AMV XP 8×8 CZ at Prague's Future Forces Exhibition on October 21–23, 2026, targeting the Czech Army's Pandur II replacement. The proposed vehicle family includes Czech participation in integration, production, maintenance and lifecycle support, backed by technology transfer and partnerships with state defence enterprises. Patria will also display an AMV full-mission simulator and its NEMO 120 mm turreted mortar, without an announced Czech selection of either configuration. The company is organising an October 23 industry event to expand the national supplier network; the presentation remains a procurement campaign rather than a confirmed fleet order.
