FNSS completes pre-delivery tests of first Kaplan APC for Indonesia

FNSS completed pre-delivery acceptance testing in Turkey for the first Kaplan tracked armoured personnel carrier built for Indonesia. The tests verified vehicle performance and contractual requirements before shipment, reducing the risk of deficiencies being discovered after transfer. Kaplan provides protected troop transport on a tracked chassis suited to demanding terrain and forms part of broader Turkish-Indonesian defence-industrial cooperation. Acceptance testing is not the final operational milestone; delivery, local inspection, crew and maintainer training, spares, weapons integration, and in-country support must follow before the vehicle enters sustained service.
