Five ROMULUS 151 drone ships now under construction

Five HII ROMULUS 151 uncrewed surface vessels are under construction in Louisiana, with the first hull structurally complete and flipped for deck and pilothouse work. Breaux Brothers Enterprises is building four craft in New Iberia and Halimar Shipyard a fifth in Morgan City, spreading production across multiple yards for scalable fleet production. The modular vessels use HII’s open Odyssey Advanced Autonomy architecture and are intended for surveillance, mine countermeasures, strike and operation of other robotic systems, allowing mission payloads and software to change as requirements evolve.
