France Buys Additional Airbus U050 Capa-X Drone Systems

France's defence aviation maintenance agency ordered four additional Airbus U050 Capa-X systems, representing eight aircraft, for Army and Navy use. The 120-kilogram vertical-take-off-and-landing platform can carry a payload of up to 20 kilograms and is advertised with more than ten hours of endurance; French trials demonstrated seven hours of flight and operations at a range of 100 kilometres. The new systems are scheduled for delivery in 2027, adding to the aircraft already acquired for evaluation.
