KNDS delivers first R3-standard Jaguar armoured vehicles to French Army, adding full combat capability under SCORPION programme

KNDS France has begun delivering EBRC Jaguar reconnaissance and combat vehicles in the R3 standard, the configuration intended to provide the platform's full planned combat capability. By September 18, nearly 25 vehicles had either been delivered in the new standard or upgraded from earlier configurations, giving French Army units improved system maturity and mission functionality. The milestone advances the SCORPION modernization program, under which Jaguar combines reconnaissance sensors, networked command systems, a 40 mm cannon, anti-tank missiles, and a remote weapon station in a highly mobile wheeled vehicle.
