France Orders More MX-10 Damocles, the 10 km Loitering Munition From KNDS and Delair

France's Defence Procurement Agency exercised an optional tranche of its 2024 contract with KNDS and Delair for additional MX-10 Damocles loitering munitions. The system combines a drone airframe with a fragmentation warhead and arming safety device, offering target-search capability and a stated engagement range of 10 km. The manufacturer says it can be deployed in under five minutes and engage targets including protected vehicles, with the new batch supporting French Army and Navy requirements. Announced on October 13, the follow-on order comes after initial deliveries in December 2025, but quantities, contract value and the additional batch's delivery schedule were not disclosed.
