GD To Deliver All XM30 Prototypes By Late November, Tracks Downselect Decision In Spring 2027
General Dynamics Land Systems plans to deliver all eight Wolf XM30 combat-vehicle prototypes to the U.S. Army by the end of November 2026. The vehicles are being evaluated in the competition to replace the M2 Bradley, with the company anticipating a winner selection in spring 2027 rather than the previously indicated late-2027 timeframe. Wolf incorporates a Modular Open Systems Approach to its hardware and software architecture, allowing capabilities to be integrated during development. The deliveries support prototype testing and soldier evaluation, while the anticipated downselect remains a program decision and does not constitute a production award.
