German Budget Committee Approves F128 Frigates With Strict Conditions

The Bundestag Budget Committee approved procurement of four MEKO A-200 DEU (F128) frigates for the German Navy under strict conditions. Contract covers hulls, sensors and combat systems. Ships replace K130 corvettes on some tasks. Program strengthens Baltic and North Atlantic patrol capacity.
