Global Military Products unveils new mobile mortar variant

Global Military Products integrated its Scorpion 120 mm mobile mortar system onto an Infantry Squad Vehicle Utility (ISV-U), creating a new vehicle-mounted variant. The installation places the mortar and its handling equipment on the vehicle to support rapid emplacement, firing and displacement during indirect-fire missions. The 120 mm configuration provides heavier fire support than the company's 81 mm Scorpion Light while retaining a comparatively mobile carrier. Janes did not report a customer, procurement contract, delivery schedule or completed firing trials for the displayed configuration.
