Hanwha Systems links real-time satellite intelligence to K9 howitzers and Chunmoo rocket launchers in overseas AI debut at MSPO 2026

Hanwha Systems demonstrated an overseas artificial-intelligence sensor-to-shooter concept that linked near-real-time satellite intelligence with K9 self-propelled howitzers and Chunmoo rocket launchers at MSPO 2026. The architecture is designed to automate imagery exploitation and pass target information rapidly to fire units, reducing manual processing and shortening the interval between detection and engagement. The display shows technical integration and export ambition rather than a fielded Polish capability or completed procurement, and operational use would require validated targeting accuracy, secure communications, command authorization, interoperability and rules governing human oversight of lethal decisions.
