Hanwha to launch Chunmoo User Club in 2027, bringing NATO operators together to shape future rocket artillery upgrades and support

Hanwha Aerospace plans to establish a Chunmoo User Club in South Korea in 2027, creating a formal forum for operators of its multiple-launch rocket system. Representatives from South Korea, Poland, Estonia, Norway, and other NATO countries discussed the concept during a workshop alongside the fifth K9 User Club in Tartu, with future meetings expected to rotate among member nations. The group will exchange experience on operations, training, maintenance, ammunition, logistics, and lifecycle support while giving users a channel to influence upgrades and identify opportunities for industrial cooperation.
