Ideal Aerosmith Unveils Troublemaker Drone for Long-Range Strike and Attritable Mass Operations

Ideal Aerosmith has unveiled Troublemaker, a Group 3 unmanned aircraft designed for relatively inexpensive, attritable missions including surveillance, decoy operations and long-range strikes. The company reports endurance exceeding ten hours, range above 750 nautical miles and a payload capacity of up to 30 pounds, with a wingspan of approximately 15 feet. Troublemaker can be launched from a catapult or vehicle and configured for recovery or one-way use, depending on its mission. The manufacturer said it had built 26 aircraft and was producing roughly two per week, but did not announce a production order from the U.S. military.
