Indian Air Force receives HTT-40, completes Tejas FOC trainer acquisition

The Indian Air Force has received the HAL HTT-40 basic trainer and completed the Tejas Final Operational Clearance trainer acquisition. The turboprop HTT-40 addresses ab-initio pilot training needs. The deliveries support India's indigenous aerospace production goals. The trainer replaces aging platforms in the IAF fleet.
