Indonesia could receive its first Chinese J-10 fighters by April 2027
Indonesian reporting indicates that the country's first Chinese Chengdu J-10 fighters could arrive by April 2027, but the air force has not confirmed that delivery timetable. Republika reported a possible arrival within six months on October 5, while the air-force chief declined to specify a date or aircraft quantity. The proposed acquisition remains unresolved in its publicly disclosed configuration, including whether Indonesia would receive new J-10CE aircraft or second-hand J-10B fighters. A final purchase quantity, contract value and delivery schedule have not been announced, so the April date remains a reported prospect rather than a confirmed procurement milestone.
