INEOS’ Grenadier 4×4 selected by Austria and Italy

The Italian Army and Austrian government awarded contracts for INEOS Grenadier 4×4 vehicles, marking the manufacturer's first orders from sovereign defense forces. Italy's regional distributor ATflow is scheduled to begin deliveries in early 2027, while Austria selected armoring and conversion specialist Valentin Tusch to supply enhanced-protection vehicles for defense and interior-security users. Initial Austrian deliveries and trials are planned before the end of 2026, with neither customer quantity nor contract value disclosed. Separately, the Team Grenadier consortium has advanced to trials in the British Ministry of Defence's Light Mobility Vehicle competition.
