Isar Aerospace reaches orbit on second Spectrum flight, opening new European launch option for commercial and institutional customers

Isar Aerospace's Spectrum rocket reached orbit and deployed customer payloads on its second flight, launched from Andøya Space in Norway at 10:12 p.m. CEST. The qualification mission passed maximum aerodynamic pressure, completed stage separation and second-stage ignition, crossed the Kármán line, achieved orbital velocity and performed a circularisation burn before spacecraft separation. Isar was still working with customers to confirm the satellites' status after deployment. Spectrum vehicles three through seven are already in production, while a 40,000-square-metre factory is being completed with planned capacity for up to 40 launch vehicles annually.
