Japan satellite maker Synspective lands 20-launch deal with Rocket Lab
Japanese synthetic-aperture-radar satellite operator Synspective signed a 20-launch agreement with Rocket Lab for dedicated Electron missions from New Zealand between 2028 and 2031. The deal is Rocket Lab’s largest commercial Electron order and raises the total number of missions booked for Synspective to 47, with 13 completed since 2020. Dedicated launches will allow the customer to place StriX imaging satellites into tailored sun-synchronous orbits and build revisit capacity. Financial terms, satellite deployment cadence within the launch window, and detailed commercial contingency provisions were not disclosed.
