Japan Seeks AARGM-ER to Suppress Enemy Warship Air Defenses

Japan is seeking the AARGM-ER extended-range anti-radiation missile to suppress enemy warship air defenses. The weapon targets naval radar emitters and integrated air defenses. Acquisition strengthens Japan's SEAD and anti-ship capabilities. AARGM-ER can be carried internally on the F-35.
