KNDS points RCH 155 towards longer-range artillery future
KNDS has fitted a tracked RCH 155 demonstrator with a new French-designed 155 mm, 58-caliber gun as part of its LORAS long-range artillery development. The installation combines the remotely controlled, automated Artillery Gun Module with the Boxer tracked platform shown at Eurosatory 2026. KNDS targets ranges beyond 60 km with new high-explosive ammunition and up to 100 km with special rounds, while retaining compatibility with existing 52-caliber-standard shells. These figures describe the development objective for the longer-barreled system, which is designed for wheeled or tracked integration, rather than a newly announced operational delivery.
